My first decent attempt at acrylic painting on canvas. Although taking a photo with a digital camera, without a stand, can be a very big headache.

nice pic! the gray wolf is less well done but all the rest of picture is amazing job!

This is a really great background! I love the cast shadows of the trees across the snow.. and the varying sizes of the wolves gives a good feeling of depth in the piece =)

What I thought amazing was that i was first in my class to finish, and the canvas is a little over 70cmX70cm.

I would have liked to make the fur on the grey wolf a little more realistic, but there were no brushes fine enough for the work.

I did enter this in a local competition. I did not win, but that did not matter. I did get a 'highly commended' certificate, and a commision from a family friend.
